Ok, my problem is that i want to have the EMG 81/85 set sound, but i
DO NOT want active pickups. I remember reading somewhere before that
there is another set of pickups that are made by EMG that are
specifically designed to sound like an 81/85 set, but they are passive
pickups. I don't want recommendations about other manufacturers,
either answer my question the right way, or don't answer it at all. I
am hell bent on getting EMG's, and I'm not changing my mind, I just
don't want the RETARDED BATTERY.
