BBC America Orders First Original Drama Copper

BBC America logo BBC America is breaking into the original programming game with a period drama titled Copper, the network announced Thursday morning at the Television Critics Association summer press tour in Beverly Hills. The series centers on a young Irish police officer who lives in New York City in the 1860s. He'll have to learn to navigate the various communities, ranging from the Irish of the Five Points neighborhood to Manhattan high society to the nascent black community in Harlem. Doctor Who trailer, fezzes and more Time Lord secrets "The show maintains our U.K. connectivity in a bold and smart way," BBC America General Manager Perry Simon told reporters. He said he didn't want the channel's first original scripted series to fall into the cliché of "a London cop who gets transferred to Las Vegas." The cast will come from both sides of the pond. Tom Fontana (OZ) and Will Rokos (Southland) are co-creators and will executive-produce alongside Barry Levinson (Rain Man) and Christina Wayne (Broken Trail, Mad Men). The 10-episode season will begin production in Toronto this fall. Copper will premiere in the summer of 2012.

What do you think of Revolutionary Road movie?

I think Revolutionary Road is a film of Titanic 2 but a different
title. Although Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet are in it so it
gives me an impression of Titanic which is if Jack had lived, what he
and Rose would be like together and what their life together would be
like. So Revolutionary Road is reflecting of it.

I am surprising that if Jack had lived, it wouldn't be interesting
life for Rose and the life for them could be strongly in love but when
they grow older together, they would get bored of each other.

But Titanic film, Jack died and Rose moved on, until she died and
become a spirit to go to be with Jack in the heaven is the best one
compared to Revolutionary Road because I can compare which would make
a lifetime to remember for Rose. Like I said Revolutionary Road shows
me that it wouldn't be interesting if Jack had lived.

It's not my pc going to sleep; I can still see the rest of my display.
The audio continues to play but after a few seconds or minutes in, the
video part goes black. If I restart or slide the playback bar to a
different point within the show it'll start the video up again, but
after a bit it'll go black again. I'm running Windows 7 and have been
using Netflix for years without ever having a problem.

EMG guitar pickup help?

Ok, my problem is that i want to have the EMG 81/85 set sound, but i
DO NOT want active pickups. I remember reading somewhere before that
there is another set of pickups that are made by EMG that are
specifically designed to sound like an 81/85 set, but they are passive
pickups. I don't want recommendations about other manufacturers,
either answer my question the right way, or don't answer it at all. I
am hell bent on getting EMG's, and I'm not changing my mind, I just
don't want the RETARDED BATTERY.
